Long story short...
I’m a planner and love making lists, but traditional dated planners never fit my needs. Some were too big, too rigid, too detailed, or simply not lefty-friendly. (Coil-bound planners are a lefty’s nightmare!)
I found myself spending a lot of time and money trying different planners (seriously, name one, and I’ve probably ordered it) but I always ended up feeling more stressed and less organized than when I started.
(Not to mention the guilt I felt abandoning yet another planner.)
After years of trying to fit myself into the traditional planner world, I decided to create a new kind of custom planner designed to match your life, instead of forcing your life to match your planner. Out of that motivation, came the idea for Manner & Grace.
But there was something else...
In the back of my mind, I’ve always admired my grandmother, Marjorie “Marge” Goodale (M&G). She was one of the original female entrepreneurs back in the 1940s. At age 16, my grandmother, an incredibly talented dancer, opened her dance studio for young children. With her studio, she supported not only herself but also her family. She taught hundreds (maybe even thousands) of children in Connecticut how to dance.
Manner & Grace is my way of paying homage to the original, and always graceful, M&G.
